The Pittsburgh Steelers had a great win over the Washington Redskins on Monday night. The game ended with a shocking score of 23-6...I myself thought for sure that the redskins were going to win. This win left Pittsburgh with a 6-2 rating. Jason Campbell threw his first two interceptions this season in the fight against the tuff Steelers defense. Not only was that a factor, but Clinton Portis, the leading rusher in the NFL, was shut out.
The biggest surprise to the game was Roethlisberger's injury. He only played the first half of the game. They decided to bring Byron Leftwich in for the second half and he didn't let those steelers fans down. His first pass was a 50 yard completion to receiver Nate Washington. We can't forget the other key players such as Willie paker, Santonio Holmes, Troy Palomolou, and others. Willie Parker himself rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown.
